2022 Vehicle Auction

INVITATION FOR BID:
The Board of Clarion County Commissioners is issuing an invitation to bid for surplus vehicles. Bids must be valid for 30 days. Bid submittal forms are available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday in the office of the Commissioners at the Clarion County Administrative Building, 330 Main Street 2nd Floor, Clarion, PA 16214. Vehicles will be available for public inspection on June 6 -10, 2022 9 AM – 4 PM at 160 Amsler Avenue, Shippenville, PA 16254. 

Bid submittal forms, are available at www.co.clarion.pa.us. Bids are due to the Office of the Chief Clerk, in the Commissioner’s Office, 330 Main Street, 2nd
Floor, Clarion, PA 16214, by 12:00 p.m. Friday June 10, 2022. Bids will be opened at the Commissioners regular business meeting starting at 10:00 am on June 14, 2022, in the Commissioners First Floor Conference Room immediately following County Salary Board
meeting.

Details:

A 10% deposit, made payable to County of Clarion, is required with each sealed bid. A bid may contain only one bid request per envelope. Bids must be in a SEALED envelope and labeled: Surplus Vehicles: Bid Item Number, year, make and the last five digits of the VIN number. Once the bid is awarded, the person who receives the bid is required to make final payment and pay for all notary and transfer fees within ten days of notification of the award. If a bid is not accepted, the deposit will be returned. All monies must be a certified check or money order, made payable to: County of Clarion. The winning bidder has until June 30, 2022, to remove the vehicle from county property after notification from the county. All vehicles will require a minimum bid (See Bid Proposal Form: Surplus Vehicles). All sales are final, and all items are sold “As Is, Where Is”. The County has the right to reject any and all bids.
